A Little About Me

I’m Karen O’Beirne, a Registered Solemniser and Celebrant based in Co. Louth, working with couples across Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Before becoming a celebrant, I spent more than 30 years working in hospitality, with weddings forming a huge part of my career. That experience has given me a very practical understanding of weddings — how the day works, what couples worry about and, importantly, how to keep things relaxed.
Now I get to concentrate on one very important part of the day: your ceremony. Every ceremony I write starts with the couple in front of me rather than a standard script or template.

We honestly couldn’t recommend Karen enough! From the very beginning, she was absolutely amazing and made the whole process so easy for us. We really didn’t know what we needed to do when it came to the legal side of getting married, especially as we were getting married in Ireland, and Karen guided us through everything step by step. Standing in a room with our family and friends Karen made us feel like the only people in the room. From the first meeting Karen was open to our ideas and shared from her personal experience to make our day, our day. Joining our families was important to us and Karen helped us fulfil our dream.
