Sometimes, you don't want a big wedding ceremony with lots of readings, music and traditions.
Sometimes, you just want a lovely moment together, somewhere beautiful, to celebrate what you mean to each other.
And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that!
Perhaps you're already legally married and would love to mark a special anniversary. Maybe you're celebrating your commitment to each other, or perhaps you've simply fallen in love with the idea of a handfasting ceremony.
And if you're wondering what handfasting actually involves, don't worry. I'll explain!
Handfasting is a beautiful symbolic tradition where your hands are gently joined together with ribbons or cords, representing the promises you're making to one another.
It's where the expression “tying the knot” comes from, and I think there's something rather lovely about that ❤️
You can choose to exchange your own personal vows as part of the handfasting, or simply enjoy the ritual itself.
And you don't need a big venue or a room full of guests.
In fact, I particularly love the idea of these ceremonies taking place outdoors. Somewhere overlooking the sea, surrounded by beautiful countryside or at a location that means something special to you both.
Just the two of you, a beautiful setting and a moment that's entirely yours.
There's no need to fill the ceremony with lots of extras or make it more complicated than it needs to be.
I'll guide you through the handfasting, explain what happens and make sure you both feel comfortable and relaxed.
Because sometimes, keeping things simple is what makes them so lovely.

A Little More Information
This option is designed for couples who would love a simple handfasting, either on its own or accompanied by personal vows.
It isn't a full wedding ceremony, so readings, additional symbolic rituals and a personalised wedding ceremony script aren't included.
Standard handfasting ribbons are provided, but bespoke cords or specially commissioned ribbons aren't included.
Outdoor locations are particularly lovely for handfasting, although we can discuss what you have in mind.
Price: From €500
Each booking is quoted individually, depending on the location and arrangements.
