Dublin Weddings - From City Chic to Coastal Romance

County Dublin is a place of beautiful contrasts where vibrant city life meets sweeping coastlines and historic architecture stands alongside modern romance. Whether you’re dreaming of a grand hotel wedding, an intimate city ceremony or a seaside celebration, Dublin offers endless possibilities.

As a registered wedding celebrant and solemniser, I perform legal weddings, vow renewals, elopements and commitment ceremonies throughout Dublin crafting ceremonies that are relaxed, meaningful and completely personal.

Every couple’s story is different and your ceremony should be too. I work closely with you to create something truly personal, written from scratch to reflect who you are and what matters most.

I offer:

Legal wedding ceremonies (civil / non-religious)

Vow renewals

Commitment ceremonies & elopements

Symbolic rituals: handfasting, unity candle, sand blending, ring warming, wishing stones, time capsules

Each script is unique and is designed to capture who you are as a couple and delivered with warmth and care.

Where Can You Legally Marry In Dublin?

In Ireland, legal marriages must take place in a venue that is open to the public and accessible for inspection. Private homes or gardens aren’t eligible for legal ceremonies.

You can check official venue requirements on the HSE’s guidance for approved wedding venues.

The wonderful news is that Dublin is full of incredible venues that meet every requirement — from elegant hotels to coastal retreats and heritage estates:

Clontarf Castle Hotel – romance, history and modern luxury combined.

The Shelbourne Dublin – timeless city grandeur overlooking St. Stephen’s Green.

The Merrion Hotel – sophisticated elegance in the heart of the city.

The Westbury – chic, contemporary and perfect for stylish celebrations.

The Anglers Rest – charming riverside setting near the Phoenix Park.

The Cliff Townhouse – ideal for intimate city weddings with sea views.

Malahide Castle & Gardens – historic beauty surrounded by parkland.

The Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links – stunning coastal backdrop for seaside vows.

From city centre glamour to seaside serenity, I’ll help you choose a Dublin venue that fits both your vision and the legal criteria.
